The 2,500sq ft business comprises a ground floor entrance area plus a specialist shop, and a basement bar split into three sections — a 30-cover main bar, plus two further areas with fixed and loose seating for 60.
Christie + Co was marketing the premises on behalf of Steve Holgate from PKF (UK) LLP, Joint Administrators of Wishing Well Taverns Ltd. The business was placed into administration in February 2010 as part of Bar Group Ltd, which operated various venues across the South East.
Previously operated under a "South African" theme, the bar will reopen after a refurbishment this month.
Katie Wallace from Christie + Co's London Bars and Restaurants team said: "Located in a busy Central London area and a popular destination for tourists, the Bok Bar generated a significant amount of interest from established operators and local entrepreneurs."
