The Corn Exchange venture has a total trading area of 27,000sq ft and includes a sports-led bar called the Corner Bar, and two rooms licensed for 400 people each.
The business also benefits from two unused floors on the first and second levels, which had previously been utilised as a cinema prior to the property being converted to a nightclub approximately 10 years ago.
Jon Clyne from Christie + Co's Exeter Office, said: "JD Wetherspoon's strong appetite to increase their presence in Cornwall, particularly within towns such as Camborne, meant the Corn Exchange fitted the company's criteria perfectly. We are delighted that the property has been sold for continued licenced use and believe that JD Wetherspoon's presence will give the town a real lift."
This sale was acted on behalf of Alistair Wardell and Nigel Morrison of Grant Thornton UK LLP, Joint Administrators of L2 Limited.
