Each chef will be expected to prepare one of the three courses – starter, main and dessert – to be marked out of ten by diners at the end of the meal.
Cookie co-owner, Domenico del Priore, said: "Our Cook-off Competitions are all about fun, interaction and breaking down the barriers between the preparation and consumption of food. And they're already proving popular with budding chefs quick to sign up to next month's event!"
The contest will feature a set three course menu with a vegetarian option for £17 with a special promotional aperitif from Pincer vodka on arrival.
The competition is the latest part of Cookie's ongoing programme to break down the barriers between food production, distribution, preparation and consumption from its base at 72 Nithsdale Road, Pollokshields, Glasgow.
