The hotel is being sold on behalf of Maurice Moses and Angela Swarbrick, joint administrators of Hotel Verta Limited and Verta Properties Limited, and would represent an excellent opportunity for existing operators or investors.
Situated on London's South Bank between Battersea and Wandsworth Bridges, and adjacent to the London Heliport, Hotel Verta offers 70 rooms — the majority of which afford spectacular views over the River Thames — and a restaurant offering modern British and European cuisine.
The hotel's Patrisey restaurant offers guests a choice of dining experience — either watching their food being prepared whilst dining with the kitchen in full view, or enjoying a more intimate dining experience.
An additional feature of the hotel is Spa Verta, renowned as one of London's most decadent fitness and spa suites.
David Creamore, director of London Hotels for Christie + Co, said: "The sale of Hotel Verta represents a superb and rare re-branding opportunity for existing operators or for potential investors to gain a stylish foothold in London's hotel marketplace. Its situation near the London Heliport, its views over the Thames and its commitment to style and luxury make Hotel Verta one of the unique hotel experiences in the capital."
Christie + Co is inviting offers for the long leasehold interest (150 years, with 145 years remaining) on Hotel Verta.
