The Welsh Culinary Association (WCA) is encouraging chefs of all ages to put their names forward for this contest, which is sponsored jointly by the Welsh Assembly Government and Hybu Cig Cymru / Meat Promotion Wales.
Entry is open to chefs of all ages who must work or study in Wales. They are challenged to devise their own creative menu for a three-course dinner for four, including some True Taste winning products.
Application forms are now available from the WCA or they can be downloaded from the association's website at www.welshculinaryassociation.com. Chefs have until November 2 to return the forms with a £30 entry fee, which includes a year's membership of the WCA.
Two qualifying heats will take place - Coleg Ystrad Mynach on Friday, November 13 and Deeside College, Connah's Quay on Friday, November 20.
