Overseeing the food and beverage offering, will be food and beverage manager, Simon Stevenson. Simon joins the Macdonald Hotels Group from Bowood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort in Wiltshire where, during his four years service he progressed from assistant food & beverage manager to operations manager.
Also leading the operations team in the open of a boutique country house hotel, spa & fine dining restaurant attaining two AA Rosettes shortly after opening.
New head chef, Frank Lusambili will bring his extensive catering experience to the new property from the Marriott Hotel in Heathrow where he worked for the past two years, prior to that, from the Barcelo Hinckley Island Hotel in Leicestershire.
Upon his appointment, Simon Stevenson commented: "I am really excited to have joined as part of the team at Macdonald Windsor Hotel. The Macdonald Hotels brand prides itself on a high quality and innovative food and beverage offering, something that its guests have come to expect. Frank and I are currently developing the new menus and we are working hard to ensure that Macdonald Windsor Hotel can deliver an experience above and beyond these expectations."
In addition to the catering team, the hotel has also appointed the final members of its senior, including night manager, Greg Brown joining from the Macdonald Berystede Hotel, head housekeeper, Joanne Bristow from the Beaumont House in Old Windsor and front office manager, Gary Kelly, who joins from The Ritz in London.
