Capital Pub Company reports healthy turnover growth

The Capital Pub Company has reported a 16% hike in turnover for the 22 weeks of the current financial year.

The company said growth has been driven by the "good trading conditions" in London as well as the re-opening of The Victoria Inn in June.

Other acquisitions include The Black Sawn in Cobham, Surrey and The Morgan Arms in Bow, London.

The group has also revealed that it will opening a new pub, The Actress in East Dulwich, later this month.

There are currently 30 pubs operating under the group's umbrella.
