CARLUCCIO’S COMES TO WIMBLEDON

12th February 2010, 8:01am

Carluccio’s has continued its expansion by opening a new restaurant in Wimbledon, south west London.

Situated in Wimbledon Village residents can experience the combination of caffè, restaurant, alimentari foodshop and deli as well as the restaurant.

Typical mains include a range of homemade pasta such as linguine al frutti di mare (fresh linguine squid rings, mussels and prawns) and the classic ossobuco alla Milanese (braised shin of veal with tomato sauce, served with a creamy saffron risotto).

The new caffè has a contemporary dining area featuring rustic light oak flooring, chic pale blue banquettes, striking Ingo Maurer pendant lighting, a high quartz-topped bar and a community table for ten.
