Best Western Dover Marina Hotel
The new hotels are spread evenly across the UK with two in the Southeast, and one in Scotland, West London, the Northwest, and the South Midlands.
Keith Pope, director of Best Western, said: "Many independent hoteliers are still experiencing a challenging time and for some it makes a lot of sense to link in with other like-minded businesses and join a quality hotel brand to market their hotel's services.
"Best Western's profile has risen sharply over the past year since our Hotels with Personality launch and this has manifested itself in big increases in sales volume going through Best Western to its member hotels.
"This is an obvious attraction for new members especially given Best Western's operating system - we provide the extensive marketing support of a huge global hotel brand combined with the freedom for owners to run their businesses as they want to; meaning they can preserve the personality of the hotel they have created."
Between them, the new member hotels add nearly 300 bedrooms to Best Western's existing total of 15,000 rooms.
The new member hotels include Best Western's first apartment hotel in Ealing, West London; a welcome back for the 81 bedroom Best Western Dover Marina which closed a year ago for a major renovation; a hotel with truly Royal connections in Windsor; and a hotel in the Regency town of Cheltenham, the capital of National Hunt horseracing.
