Bar group Drake & Morgan reveals new operations manager

Bar group Drake & Morgan has announced that Taskin Muzaffer has been promoted to operations manager.

Taskin will be responsible for overseeing operations across the Drake & Morgan portfolio.

Taskin has previously worked at top establishments including Harvey Nichols 5th Floor and began working for the Drake & Morgan group in 2008 as general manager of the refinery, before being promoted to openings manager working with managing director Jillian Maclean for the opening of the parlour in Canary Wharf and The Anthologist in the City.

The initial focus of his new role will be the on their next venue, The Folly, also in the Square Mile, opening in early November this year.

Taskin said: "I'm thrilled to have been promoted to Operations Manager, particularly as we are looking to open another very exciting venue. The Folly will confirm Drake & Morgan as a mould-breaking trendsetter in the capital's bar and restaurant world and it's fantastic being part of the driving force offering consumers something different in the capital."

Maclean added: "Taskin has proved his operational ability again and again to me, particularly in the high pressure environment of opening new venues, and I'm delighted that he's going to feature as a key player in our development going forward."
