BROTHERS CIDER LAUNCHES

A NEW FRIDGE-FRIENDLY BOTTLE IN AN EFFORT TO FIT MORE IN AS THEY FLY OFF THE SHELVES

Following the sensational success of Brothers Pear Cider at Glastonbury this year, Brothers Cider is set to launch a brand new innovation - a new bespoke fridge-friendly bottle! Not only are the new bottles svelte, easy to handle, but they're the pear-fect size to slip into pub fridges. This couldn't come at a better time, helping Brothers to squeeze more bottles on the shelf to meet the increasing demand for their revolutionary Strawberry & Pear Cider as the summer continues.

Since their nationwide launch back in March, the Brothers have been hard at work with their glass supplier developing a new, lighter, bespoke, non returnable bottle. The new bottle has been designed to be more practical for stockists - with bar fridges and shop shelves in mind - without surrendering the proportions of the distinctive Brothers bottle. The height has been reduced to match the height of a Magners bottle, the diameter remains the same, leaving the volume of cider and number of cases per pallet unchanged.

As well as being perfectly sized to fit into fridges the new bottle is ¾ of the weight of the original bottle. This will help reduce Brothers Cider's carbon footprint, as it saves both glass and energy.

To top it all, the triumph of the Pear Cider has been matched by the roaring success of the Brothers Strawberry & Pear variant, which has seen volume growth of an astounding 298% in 6 months. Selling like wildfire and stocked in national retailers and national on-trade wholesalers, the Strawberry & Pear flavour is the perfect summer drink to tantalise and refresh the taste buds of consumers nationwide.

Matthew Showering, co-founder of Brothers Drinks comments – "The launch of the new bottle allows retailers and bars to stock our cider without having to compromise on shelf space. With this move, we expect to see an increase in stockists by the end of the year."

Set to go on shelf later on this month, the new style bottles will make bar and retail managers and lives a lot easier.  For more information about the sensational Brothers Pear Cider, click on www.brotherscider.co.uk.
