The BBPA won the award for the best annual report from a UK trade association, for their Annual Review 2009.
BBPA chief executive Brigid Simmonds accepted the prize along with association staff, from Nick Hewer from BBC's The Apprentice series.
Simmonds commented: "We are really delighted to have won this award. Full congratulations are due to the entire BBPA team for producing such a great report.
"I would also like to thank BBPA member companies for all the help they provided, with case studies that brought to life the impact of the policy, campaigning and research work we do.
"Through our Annual Review and other publications, we will continue to show how an active and vibrant trade association really has an impact, right through to local campaigns and for individual businesses."
