Available on the BBPA website, the guide sets out how pubs can host events under the British Tourism Week banner to boost trade and invite local politicians and election candidates along.
From special menus and pub quizzes, to getting your local MP or election candidate to pull a few pints, there is plenty pubs can do mark British Tourism Week.
BBPA chief executive Brigid Simmonds commented: "Tourism in Britain just wouldn't work without the great British pub. We are one of the most popular attractions for overseas visitors, who come to savour the unique pub experience we have to offer. British Tourism Week is a great time to remind people at home just how special pubs are, and what a huge part we play in this vital part of the UK economy."
In addition to the BBPA guide for pubs, there is much more information on British Tourism week available on the website at www.britishtourismweek.com.
