3663 appoints new director of marketing

Leading wholesale distributor, 3663 First for Foodservice, has appointed Jenny Wilson as director of marketing.

Wilson joins 3663 from Caterlyst Insight where she offered specialist management consulting services with a particular focus on the foodservice and hospitality sector in her position as insight director.

Her career has included senior marketing positions at Whitbread, Virgin Retail, Sodexo and Dairy Crest.

"As a skilled marketing director with a strong background in brand and business development, Jenny is perfectly placed to help expand and drive 3663's leading profile and position in the marketplace," said Fred Barnes, chief executive of 3663. 

"She is known for identifying new opportunities and bringing them to fruition and with a keen understanding of the foodservice and hospitality sector, in addition to a proven track record for developing successful business and brand strategies, we have high expectations of her ability to keep 3663 at the forefront of the industry."

Speaking of her appointment, Wilson said: "I have always been impressed by 3663 and their position within the foodservice industry and I am really pleased to be joining their team at a time when the industry is undergoing change as a result of the current economic climate. 3663 is in a strong position to capitalise on new opportunities as they develop and I am really looking forward to being part of a company that is looking to expand and grow their position within the marketplace."
