108 Marylebone Lane Restaurant launches “Express 45-minute” menu

3rd August 2010, 11:06am

108 Marylebone Lane Restaurant & Bar has introduced an “Express 45-Minute Two-Course Lunch” offer which promises diners that two courses will be served to them within 45 minutes of being seated – and if not, their food will be free.

On arrival during lunchtime, guests (maximum groups of six) will be asked if they would like to partake in an "Express 45-Minute Two-Course Lunch".  From the minute guests are seated, the "Express 45-Minute Two-Course Lunch" timing begins.

Guests' orders will need to be taken within seven minutes of sitting down.  If they order a starter and a main dish, their starter will be served within seven minutes of ordering, and their main dishes will be served within 30 minutes of sitting down.

If guests prefer to have a main dish followed by a dessert, the main dish will be served 15 minutes after ordering and the dessert will follow 15 minutes after the main course is served.  Guests are given 15 minutes to eat their main course.

When making a reservation to sample the "Express 45-Minute Two-Course Lunch", guests are asked to quote the following booking reference - 108 L45.

The 45-minute promotion is only available when guests have two courses for £14.50.  However, guests can also indulge in three courses from the same menu for only £18.

The specially created "Express 45-Minute Two-Course Lunch" menu will offer a selection of three starters, three main dishes, and two desserts.  These dishes will be changed each week by executive chef, Norman Farquharson.

In addition, Le Cercle in London is introducing a new 30-minute Express Lunch Menu daily from Tuesday through to Saturday.

The Express Lunch is offered as a three-course menu at £15 per person, or four-course menu for £19.50 per person.  Dishes on the menu include: summer salad & hazelnut vinaigrette haddock a l'antiboise & basil pulp seared scallops, pea pulp & Provencal dressing; and chocolate fondant with ginger ice cream.
