London Restaurant Festival is a citywide celebration of eating out, designed to celebrate London's extraordinarily diverse and exciting range of restaurants and drive footfall.

Falmouth Oyster Festival

14th - 17th October 2010, Events Square in the heart of Falmouth

This festival celebrates the start of the oyster season, which runs from October to March with a host of cookery demonstrations by local chefs and stalls brimming with oysters, seafood, wine and local ales. The programme also includes, children’s activities, sea shanties, a town parade, oyster shucking competitions, live music, and a race of the Falmouth Working Boats.

Cheese & Wine Festival

15th - 17th October 2010, Southbank Centre

The Cheese & Wine festival, now in its second year, will be dedicated to ‘Produce of the world’. Alongside some of the best cheeses and wines from England, Scotland, and Ireland, there will also be a unique opportunity to taste and buy an array of products from France and Corsica, Holland, Italy, Sardinia and Sicily, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Austria and more.

Dartmouth Food Festival

22nd - 24th October 2010, Dartmouth

The festival will have marquees on the Embankment overlooking the River Dart specialising in seafood together with over 100 different food stalls in the Old Market Square.

Gwledd Conwy Feast

23rd - 24th October 2010, North Wales' medieval world town of Conwy

With 150 food stalls, four stages of entertainment, a beer festival, art workshops for children, a grow-your-own veg garden on the quayside, a marquee of farm animals, and a special exhibition of food-related artwork at Conwy's Royal Cambrian gallery, films and poetry readings, there's food for thought and a feast for the eyes too.
