The Taste of Bath Festival 2008 will give visitors the opportunity to try sample-sized signature dishes from a selection of the best restaurants in Bath and the South West. Explore different cuisines, enjoy fine wines and meet top chefs including Raymond Blanc, Michael Caines and Antony Worrall Thompson all in the beautiful Royal Victoria Park - just below the Royal Crescent.

The Great Yorkshire Show, Harrogate

8th – 10th July 2008, Great Yorkshire Showground

The Great Yorkshire Show, a premier UK countryside event, celebrates its 150th show this year.

The event brings together the best of British farming with an eclectic mix of country life, entertainment, shopping and competitions.

Last year saw more than 120,000 visitors come through the gates, and this celebratory year is expected to attract a record crowd to the 250 acre site.

Taste of Birmingham, Cannon Hill Park

Now in its third consecutive year, Channel 4's Taste of Birmingham will be celebrating the very best cuisine that the Midlands has to offer in the beautiful surroundings of Cannon Hill Park, from Thursday 10th July to Sunday 13th July 2008.

Celebrity chefs Anthony Worrall Thompson and Aldo Zilli will be preparing mouth-watering menus alongside a host of the region’s leading restaurants, including Itihaas, Opus and Simpsons.
